Community Hub

In order for the Cohousilience project to address the most relevant Erasmus Plus Adult Education priority of “Promoting local learning centers and innovative learning spaces”, five “Community Hubs” are to be established and experimented in four Eu countries (2 in Italy, 1 in Greece, 1 in Belgium, and 1 in France), where citizens living in cohousing projects will be supported in scaling up their experiences, and the cohousing establishments will be transformed into “social innovation and generative centers” interlinked to their social, environmental and economic ecosystems.
The Community Hubs are bottom-up forward-looking centers aimed at increasing the resilience of their inhabitants and becoming reference sites for their social environment (local institutions, third sector organizations, citizens), based on their capacity of innovating social relationships and forward-looking proposals for the community which will serve as reference points for social innovation and lifelong learning platform.
Moreover, the project predicts the development of a Cohousing Community APP to link the Eu Community Hubs with each other and put volunteers, social workers, stakeholders etc. in contact with people asking for basic help; the development of this APP will start from an already existing community building app, called Aiutapp, developed by FAI Padova Cooperative as the Lead Partner in the cohousilience project. The App will then be co-developed and upgraded in partnership with other project partners.
Here are the different Community Hub:

– Padua
– Turin
– Belgium
